Promoting the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ
The fund has been established at the request of ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ Elder in Residence, Aunty Roslyn Brown (Aunty Ros), who often performs Welcome to Country ceremonies for ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ. Rather than personally accepting a fee for her service, Aunty Ros requests that payment is made to the fund instead.
However, anyone may make a gift to the Ngunnawal Elder's Fund if they wish to support this group of students at times of need.
ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, traditional custodians of the lands where Bruce campus is situated. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of Canberra and the region. We also acknowledge all other First Nations Peoples on whose lands we gather.
