Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Apply assessment strategies and outcome measures to support physiotherapy management for people with progressive and/or complex neurological conditions;
2. Analyse assessment and measurement findings for progressive and/or complex neurological conditions to guide physiotherapy intervention planning;
3. Deliver and evaluate safe and effective physiotherapy interventions for people with progressive and/or complex neurological conditions;
4. Analyse findings using comprehensive knowledge and relevant evidence to make ethical decisions in physiotherapy practices; and
5. Reflect on and adapt communication and professional behaviours to provide culturally safe, person-centred, and collaborative neurological physiotherapy for diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
