‘The Eastlake Club and Restaurant’ is a proposed design for a large, luxury restaurant to be built in Kingston Eastlake to bring both casual and fine Western dining to the area. The restaurant follows the contemporary architecture style, presenting asymmetry, rounded forms, large abundant windows, high roofs, open floor plans, living walls and an overall free-form shape. As the restaurant doubles up as a dining club, the building was required to hold a large capacity while considering the constraint of a 400-meter square floor space limit - thus resulting in a three-level design.
